Our 2020 membership fees have gone up (only slightly) from our 2019 fees!
Please ensure that membership is renewed online PRIOR to attending any musters, PCQ comps, clinics etc.
There are a number of membership options available when joining the Burpengary Pony Club.
As well as single rider memberships, we also offer social memberships and discounted prices for families.
Your membership fees go directly towards hiring instructors, Professional Membership Fees, Public Liability Insurance Premiums and grounds hire and upkeep.
To satisfy insurance requirements, all riders under the age of 16 must have a parent/guardian join as a social member at the same time.
Single Rider: $150
Family Membership - 1st Rider: $150, 2nd Rider: $130, 3rd and subsequent riders: $120
Instructor (Riding): $130
Instructor (Non-Riding): $40
Social Member: $40
Working Bee Levy: $200
Families are required to have gained 20 working bee points during the year to avoid paying the working bee levy.
HOT TIP - Do not leave all 20 hours until the last minute. The club loves members and families to be involved in all aspects of Pony Club for it to run smoothly and to help include everyone in the club and its activities.
The Canteen always needs helpers - don't forget to sign on in the book at the clubhouse to get your hours counted and recorded. If you have ways that you can contribute to the club, please contact the Committee.
Events need help in setting up, packing up and general running of the events. If you are riding at the event, you are expected to help out at the running of the events. Setting up and packing up can earn you working bee points ONLY if you are NOT riding, then all hours at events earn you points for Working Bee hours.
To become a financial member of our Club, you will need to join online through the PCAQ site by clicking on the "Join Pony Club" button. The only form of online payment for membership is by Credit/Debit card; there is no longer the option to pay membership by cash or cheque.
